On our little walk

Wasn't yesterday such a wonderful day?  The weather was perfect!  A little bit of wind to cool down the heat for a wonderful evening.  Perfect for a little walk.....  

This was the first thing we came across. Look at that cute little pony!  And I love that horse in the back.  Such a beautiful color and great contrast with the blonde mane.  I wanted to touch them but they never responded to, "Come here little pony and ooo look at the pretty horsie!"  Drat the luck.

 

Okay... This picture is here as a WARNING .  Not all electric fences have signs that tell you it's electric!!!!  My silly self and I leaned into the fence to try and pet the horsie and touched the electric fence with my forehead.  Dumb.  My brain felt a little fuzzy for a bit.  A small headache came too!  I didn't know it was electric though!  So it's not my fault... It was the weirdest shock I have ever had.  It's not like those shocks that you get when you are still touching the metal part of a plug while plugging it in (don't judge me), it was like a pulse. Like a nuke went off in my head? So strange.  But cool story. :)

On our way back home Justin noticed this bee on the ground.  IT'S HUGE! Just look at that thing! and yes, it was dead.... I hope..... I have never seen a bee that big ever!

What an adventurous walk that was!  Never thought they could be that way.... I learned so much in a matter of twenty minutes.  NEVER touch a wire fence that is held up by yellow stick thingy's (proper term?).  Anyways,  Hope you all have such a wonderful Wednesday!

Over the Weekend. . . . .

Ahh..... Love our date nights.  I know... you are wondering where I got all of these tickets???? I know you are jealous but it's ok!  I will tell you where to get them! Why the one and only Nickel City of course!  We won all these babies in about an hour and a half by getting 4 jackpots! Now what????  Oh we had such a good time :)

After Nickel City we came home, popped some popcorn and watched the last part of our Lord of the Rings series marathon... First time I had ever seen the movies!

Saturday morning Britt'e had her triathalon.  She did amazing! I don't know her time she got but she was fantastic.  This picture of her shoe untied is memorable because she ran the entire 5k with it like this.... such a trooper.

The Porta-Potty's were interesting because of their name.  They were called "Honey Bucket's".  What kind of name is that?  Honey Bucket's???  Heck no....

After Britt'e's Triathalon my cousin Sarah came down to visit!!!!  We had a pretty swell time!  While she was here we went and saw my sister's ballet.  They did Swan lake and they were beautiful!  And white.... so much white make-up!  They are both such great dancers and it's always fun to watch them.  Sarah had never seen them perform before so it was great to take her! after the ballet we just lounged around... we to bridal veil falls, got slurpies, ate at my favorite Mexican restaurant "La Costa" and visited my parents house.

Sunday Justin and I came over to eat at my parents... it got a little late because I was making some Banana Nut Bread (which turned out amazing...) and it took about an hour and 30 minutes to bake.  We had some quality time in front of the camera though!

I've never balanced a spoon on my nose before... not the most sanitary but oh well!

So there is our weekend!  So chuck full of fun and laughs!  I hope you all had such a great weekend as well!  Happy Monday!

YAY FOR JUSTIN'S 24th B-DAY!  He turned so old on April 20th..... what will I do now?  It was such a fun weekend!  Okay okay.... so maybe I got a little stressed because I wanted it to be perfect.  So sue me.  It wasn't perfect.  But it was definitely great!  Words can hardly express happy days but pictures come pretty close to the real thing.  Here you go!

Mustache cakes..... I KNOW RIGHT!  They are fabulous!  Small bit of advice though.  Never.... oh I mean NEVER use a complicated mold on the first cakes you make for your husband when you are already a little stressed about making so many for all his friends.  Just sayin....

The white one's were the only one's with homemade frosting... The mustache's were the death of me so I had to finish with store bought.. :( FAIL.  But it was still yummy!

Justin's favorite cake ever in the world is.... well... is.... Better than sex cake.  Or like my brother-in-law Jake says: -Not even close cake- Well... :)  But around family it's Skor cake.  hahahahaha

Anyways.

We had such a good time with the family over to enjoy leftover mustache's and skor cake.
