Over the weekend

Well. So far the eating healthy plan is going over just fine. Oh, except for that I'm starving. I can't curb my appetite no matter how many carrots I eat!!!! If anyone has any ideas as to how to help me with this..... I will love you forever. That's a promise.

So far. -2lbs -3/4" off my waist -1/4" off my thighs -1/4" off my chest and A LOT of sore muscles.

I know.... It's worth it.

Basically that is all Justin and I have been really focusing on these past few days. We are trying to get into some good healthy living habits. I'll admit. I struggle. This is really hard for me. But I know I can do it!

Off of the health subject, Friday night we went up to Jodie and Kodey's place with the family to sleepover and then enjoy some four-wheeling the next day. I get kinda nervous on those things! Luckily I had a cruisin' little niece that loves to go fast we me behind her so that took me out of my comfort zone somewhat. Be careful when you start driving Kenzie! Such a cutie.

Warren & Justin.... with cute little Simon in the background with his dad.

Speed demon Kenzie! Watch out Jake & Jenn! Kenzie is so gosh darn stinkin' cute..... to bad I look like such a goober.

Mmmm... I love our love.

Sunday we stayed home. It was nice and relaxing but I haven't seen my family in over a week so I've really been missing the Wright clan. So bad. Justin and I had planned to watch a movie on Sunday after dinner and homework. You'll never guess what he chose. Ok you twisted my arm.... Legally Blonde!!! Wha!!!!! I know! He "kinda" liked it I guess. He's not the biggest fan but I really enjoy the chuckles that movie brings!

Enjoy your week!

We are doing it

Yep! That's right! We gonna start eating healthy and exercising. I know..... It sounds awful. But it will be good for both Justin and I! Yesterday, we sat down at the dinner table and planned out our little calender. We wrote down meals for the week, what days we go to the gym (including the time), Our goal for the end of each week, and the rewards we get for achieving that goal! They are really good rewards so I think this plan is gonna work out nicely! This week I wanted a 30 minute massage from Justin.... :) YAY!!! I WILL make that happen! Yesterday's dinner was eggs. We still have so many because we had every intention of dying them for Easter but.... we watched Star Wars instead. SO we need to burn through 5 dozen eggs!! hahaha. It will be done! This morning we had one piece of toast and for lunch its celery, carrots, olives, sugar snap peas, and string cheese. My tummy sure is rumbling but we've got to make a drastic change in our eating and exercise habits in order for it to become part of our everyday routine! We even took before and after pictures in our swimming suits. Sorry.... not posting those hahaha. Let me tell you though.... nothing gets me more motivated than seeing how I look in a swim suit.... it will work!

Anyways.... words of encouragement are often needed for those days when I just want to forget it all so feel free to help keep us going!

p.s. Let's bring back the sunny weather shall we?

No excuses

I'm horrible! I haven't kept up on my blog in over a week! I'm such a terrible person..... I use this blog as somewhat of a journal and when I don't keep it up -- I forget things. So very very bad.

Here is an update then (Of what I can remember...)

Justin and I have finished all the star wars movies!!!! Isn't that fantastic?!?!?! I sure think so. It's my first time watching them and I absolutely love it! I kinda wish I had started with episodes 4, 5, & 6 instead of the first 3. It was hard to see super awesome graphics Yoda turn into a Jim Henson like character. But I got over it and LOVED the moves all the same!

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.
(right now I have some strange urge to hold up the spock sign right now..... wha.....????)

We LOVED conference this weekend. I'm pretty I have never been awake as much as I was this time. So proud of myself :) Justin is really good at staying awake... kudos to him.

I made some delicious german pancakes!

We spent Sunday conference at my parents house. We have a tradition of making the kneaders french toast at home. This time my mom tried it with frosted flakes and pecans smothering them. It was mouth-watering! Then that night we went over to my Grandma's house and enjoyed dinner with lots of family. It's been a while since I've been there so it was really nice to catch up!

Also on conference weekend....

MISSION REUNION!

I like going to these just so I can hear everyone speak Portuguese. It's a beautiful language! Since we decided on going to Brazil (hopefully this year) I've been trying to study it and hopefully learn some of it by the time we go. I was able to understand some of the things Justin's mission president was saying... it's pretty exciting :)

Such a good looking bunch!

This week has been a busy one!!! I'm sad to report that we have had 3 fish casualties. THREE! It's made us so sad! When I first blogged about these new family fish we started out with 3. a guppy named Laila and two glow fish: Max and Toby. Then a week or so later we picked up another glow fish named Lucy (she was pink) and our sucker fish Bob, named after the sales guy at Petsmart that likes to talk.... A LOT. We lost both Lucy and Bob as well as Toby. So sad.... Lucy had a disease and it was just a chain reaction after that. Max and Laila are doing well though! We think it will be about a week or so until we bring in some more friends.... they do look lonely though.

I liked my hair on Tuesday. It was..... comfy.

It snowed on Friday! What! Of course it melted so fast what with our bipolar Utah weather and all. I did take some pics though to see the pretty flowers showing through the snowflakes. It was such a neat contrast!

Later that night we had a wedding reception to go to. Congrats again Nolan! Your wife is adorable! Justin and I were a little hyped up before the event and took some extremely unattractive photos. Our specialty :)

We turn out ok in the end :)

Saturday we got to babysit our cute little nieces from Eureka! Kaydence and little Kiwi were adorable. We didn't take any pics but I stole this one from Jodie's facebook so that you can just see how cute they are!!! Thanks Jodes!

EASTER!!
I needed to decorate a little more I think for the holiday. This was the extent. Lame.

Lots of laughs, lots of family, lots of horribly thrown footballs, and lots of food coma. We had such a great time!

Hope you all had such a wonderful Easter weekend! Happy Monday!

Here fishy fishy!

Aren't they so peaceful to watch! Justin and I were staring for about a half an hour after we got this new tank here. Sorry the video is so blurry.

We've been really wanting a dog. We looked a lot at Yorkie's & Dachshunds and finally found the one when our landlords said they weren't comfortable with us having a puppy. Bummer.

So we bought some fish instead. They are pretty cute :)

Meet our fishies! From left to right: Laila, Max, and Toby

Here's a great secret. Laila is really a boy. He looks like a girl though. So pretty. So that is why I gave him a girl name. Oh well!

He loves it!

We originally just had a bowl for them to stay in. Then we went back to Petsmart and found out that tropical fish are supposed to have heated tanks or they will die!!

Oops.

So Justin bought this new one and they are lovin every bit of it!

And so are we! :)

Til next time.....

Lovin Crepe's

We went TWICE last weekend. We really couldn't get enough of this place. It was so delectable! Wondering where it is? I'm not telling. We will all go out together and you can find out that way ;) hahaha ok I will tell you. It's here. But we still want to go with whoever wants to go!

Anyways. That's all for now. Kinda sleepy today.

The sweetest thing.....

I would just like you all to know what Justin said to me on facebook the other day.

Yes. It's only been 7 months but... man! I couldn't be a luckier girl. I'm still giddish about it :)

That's all for now. Have a wonderful Monday :)

Where to Begin?

It's been quite the crazy week I must say. But when it came time to blog about it all.... I'm ashamed by the fact that I was just to lazy to sit at the computer for a few minutes and do it.

Well, I'm fixing my mistake and that's all that matters!

To begin the charades-

Nationals. Boy am I way out of wack with this one! It's been a year. A YEAR! Since David and I have really competed. We would dance here and there but nothing super serious. I'm so proud to say that we started choreographing our routines 3 WEEKS in advance! THREE! It's amazing! We are the type of partnership that has been choreographing every routine the day before or the day of the competition. Plus the routines would change for each one so nothing was ever set! It did us some good though and we made a lot more cuts than I would've expected! Horray! Go D&L! WOOT! Let's highlight this blessed event.

THURSDAY-SATURDAY -
what a ride

Should we start with the process? I'll admit I'm a little off my game. I haven't put on fake tan in a loooong time. Completely forgot how gross I would smell for a few days. Meh.

My streaks. I'd practice putting my tan on better but..... sounds like a bad idea.

I can completely change my ethnicity in a matter of minutes.
It's magic.
Here's a little comparison of before and after. Ballroom war paint!

Pretty fun to be back at dancing.

I had to go back to work after the events on Thursday. I meant to de-ballroomize but.... It's kinda hard to do without a shower. So I left it the way it was. Kinda funny for a receptionist! Luckily no one was feeling keen on saying hello during that time!

(at my desk)

You've just gotta love it. It's intense and you feel and look like you've been hit by a train for the next day or two.....

EXAMPLE A

EXAMPLE B
(the tanning lotion ALWAYS makes you look like you have leprosy for a few days after the comp. gross.)

......but it's totally worth it :)

Next season we are starting our 9th year as a partnership! WOOHOO!

SATURDAY-
What a day

I still had competition going on that night but earlier I spent the whole day with my mom. Ariel's B-day (THE BIG 21) was on Wednesday so we went shopping for her (and made a little stop at Mrs. Fields for ourselves as well.) We found OODLES of great gifts for Ariel for her big day! I really think she loved them all! Justin was busy snowboarding in the morning and then headed off with his company nevewear to a competition to support one of the riders they sponsor and to also get their name out there a little more. Well.... their rider won first place! How cool is that! You can check up on all of the details about it on facebook here and also "like" their page!

Isn't he just gorgeous! (he thinks that the word "gorgeous" only applies to women.... I completely disagree.)

SUNDAY'S SHAMROCKS

The Woods family decided to bring on the luck and celebrate St. Patty's a week early! I meant to take more pictures of all the family but... we were just having such a good time! Meaning I was a party poop because I was still out of it from the comp. so I just fell asleep. I know. I'm lame. But I did make Jello. GREEN jello.

SEE. Jello.

Justin was OOBER excited to find this huge jar of pickles for the party.

MONDAY -
shopping!

We love our excursions in the mall. It's nice and relaxing and even though it's mostly just window shopping.... we occasionally find some sweet things!

Found a new store at University Mall called "Cotton On". Justin already loves it! I do too.... He bought me these adorable shoes :)

That's pretty much the end. Ariel had a wonderful 21st birthday party yesterday and we took a lot of pictures! I'll post a few little snippets of the party when I can!

As for today..... This morning I received the most wonderful surprise text in the world.

THE SOCKS ARE BACK.

Finally.....

The socks were the first thing I noticed about Justin the day I met him.
I LOVE the socks.

Have a wonderful Thursday! It's such a beautiful day!
