Halloween Party #2 - Justin's side of the family

.... was extremely delicious.

Lots of amazing food and treats.  Justin and I were in charge of bringing dessert.  We were running a bit behind yesterday and so I decided on something simple, yummy, and cute.
STRAWBERRY GHOSTS!
I love them.

It was a costume party so we had to scramble for some last minute dress-ups.  Justin went as Shaggy (from Scooby-Doo) and looked just like him, and I went as a baby. (Brilliant idea on my part.  Going to a family party, eating lots of food, don't have to wear make-up, and I get to be in my PJ's. It was bliss.)
I would have taken more pictures but we were having such a great time that I didn't even think about it!  We did have a big family photo of everyone in their costumes so I will need to hunt that photo down and post it when I get it.  So many darling costumes!!

Next party?  Wednesday night!  We get to spend it with my side of the family!  Oh it's going to be a good time.  Passing out candy while seeing all the cute kids from the neighborhood in their costumes will only be half the fun!  I'm so excited.

SIDE NOTE

To all those on the east coast..... we are thinking of you and our prayers are being sent your way.  We can't even begin to comprehend the kind of terror and unknowing that comes with such a storm as Hurricane Sandy.  We hope that everyone is okay and has made it safely through.  That includes YOU Woods family of Lititz, PA!  BE SAFE! and God bless America.

Sounds like fun - love the costumes! And those ghosts are adorable! I'm in Philadelphia and thankfully the storm wasn't too bad - lots of rain and wind and no electricity, but we fared better than those in NJ and NY...so sad to see those photos of the damage!
