Here fishy fishy!

Aren't they so peaceful to watch! Justin and I were staring for about a half an hour after we got this new tank here. Sorry the video is so blurry.

We've been really wanting a dog. We looked a lot at Yorkie's & Dachshunds and finally found the one when our landlords said they weren't comfortable with us having a puppy. Bummer.

So we bought some fish instead. They are pretty cute :)

Meet our fishies! From left to right: Laila, Max, and Toby

Here's a great secret. Laila is really a boy. He looks like a girl though. So pretty. So that is why I gave him a girl name. Oh well!

He loves it!

We originally just had a bowl for them to stay in. Then we went back to Petsmart and found out that tropical fish are supposed to have heated tanks or they will die!!

So Justin bought this new one and they are lovin every bit of it!

And so are we! :)

Til next time.....

Lovin Crepe's

We went TWICE last weekend. We really couldn't get enough of this place. It was so delectable! Wondering where it is? I'm not telling. We will all go out together and you can find out that way ;) hahaha ok I will tell you. It's here. But we still want to go with whoever wants to go!

Anyways. That's all for now. Kinda sleepy today.

The sweetest thing.....

I would just like you all to know what Justin said to me on facebook the other day.

Yes. It's only been 7 months but... man! I couldn't be a luckier girl. I'm still giddish about it :)

That's all for now. Have a wonderful Monday :)

Where to Begin?

It's been quite the crazy week I must say. But when it came time to blog about it all.... I'm ashamed by the fact that I was just to lazy to sit at the computer for a few minutes and do it.

Well, I'm fixing my mistake and that's all that matters!

To begin the charades-

Nationals. Boy am I way out of wack with this one! It's been a year. A YEAR! Since David and I have really competed. We would dance here and there but nothing super serious. I'm so proud to say that we started choreographing our routines 3 WEEKS in advance! THREE! It's amazing! We are the type of partnership that has been choreographing every routine the day before or the day of the competition. Plus the routines would change for each one so nothing was ever set! It did us some good though and we made a lot more cuts than I would've expected! Horray! Go D&L! WOOT! Let's highlight this blessed event.

what a ride

Should we start with the process? I'll admit I'm a little off my game. I haven't put on fake tan in a loooong time. Completely forgot how gross I would smell for a few days. Meh.

My streaks. I'd practice putting my tan on better but..... sounds like a bad idea.

I can completely change my ethnicity in a matter of minutes.
It's magic.
Here's a little comparison of before and after. Ballroom war paint!

Pretty fun to be back at dancing.

I had to go back to work after the events on Thursday. I meant to de-ballroomize but.... It's kinda hard to do without a shower. So I left it the way it was. Kinda funny for a receptionist! Luckily no one was feeling keen on saying hello during that time!

(at my desk)

You've just gotta love it. It's intense and you feel and look like you've been hit by a train for the next day or two.....

(the tanning lotion ALWAYS makes you look like you have leprosy for a few days after the comp. gross.)

......but it's totally worth it :)

Next season we are starting our 9th year as a partnership! WOOHOO!

What a day

I still had competition going on that night but earlier I spent the whole day with my mom. Ariel's B-day (THE BIG 21) was on Wednesday so we went shopping for her (and made a little stop at Mrs. Fields for ourselves as well.) We found OODLES of great gifts for Ariel for her big day! I really think she loved them all! Justin was busy snowboarding in the morning and then headed off with his company nevewear to a competition to support one of the riders they sponsor and to also get their name out there a little more. Well.... their rider won first place! How cool is that! You can check up on all of the details about it on facebook here and also "like" their page!

Isn't he just gorgeous! (he thinks that the word "gorgeous" only applies to women.... I completely disagree.)

The Woods family decided to bring on the luck and celebrate St. Patty's a week early! I meant to take more pictures of all the family but... we were just having such a good time! Meaning I was a party poop because I was still out of it from the comp. so I just fell asleep. I know. I'm lame. But I did make Jello. GREEN jello.

SEE. Jello.

Justin was OOBER excited to find this huge jar of pickles for the party.

We love our excursions in the mall. It's nice and relaxing and even though it's mostly just window shopping.... we occasionally find some sweet things!

Found a new store at University Mall called "Cotton On". Justin already loves it! I do too.... He bought me these adorable shoes :)

That's pretty much the end. Ariel had a wonderful 21st birthday party yesterday and we took a lot of pictures! I'll post a few little snippets of the party when I can!

As for today..... This morning I received the most wonderful surprise text in the world.

The socks were the first thing I noticed about Justin the day I met him.
I LOVE the socks.

Have a wonderful Thursday! It's such a beautiful day!

Needing to learn

Okay. So all of you that have read my blog have seen all the pictures I have posted as well. Which means...... you can see how fuzzy they are! I need some help learning how to really use my camera! I have a Nikon D40 (sadly, I don't know what that means.) If anyone know of any tips or tricks or maybe even some cheap classes to take, well..... I'm all ears! Comment below to let me know!

Thanks all!

Help stop KONY in 2012

Watch this video here.

Kick into action with us here!

We also got the action kit! Get it here!

This may seem like a lot... it even does for me! But... why not right? Why not at least try to make a difference. It makes me feel a little better knowing that I went out on a limb to help out. It's kinda weird for me. I'm a little ashamed to say that I'm one of those people that feels sad when I see the commercials on tv about those less fortunate but I don't do anything or when I'm at the store and they ask me to donate to a cause and I don't donate.

This is pretty neat for us. I hope you can experience this feeling of elation with that I'm experiencing right now.

Maybe I am turning a new leaf. Feels good.

All to ourselves.....

Aren't we lucky!

So Saturday night around 9:45 p.m. Justin and I are ready for bed and relaxing on the couch.... meaning we are playing games on our phones. Lame I know. THEN all of a sudden Justin pipes up and says.. oh hey. By the way. Star Wars 3D plays in 10 minutes.......

So we went.
And had the theater ALL to ourselves.
Lucky ducks.

The movie was intense.....

super cool....

and HAPPY!!

Lucky theater number 4.

When we got out of the theater there was no one there!!! We didn't even see any workers! kinda crazy..... we felt like we were trespassing or something. We step outside and everything was deserted! Just look at the parking lot!

Our lone Prius....

Anyways... it was one heck of a fun evening! And the first time I had seen the movie so there's an extra bonus! I recommend it! Even though everyone and their dog has seen it except me :)

All the LAUGHS

When I said I needed some giggles to make up last weeks bout of grumpiness..... Well. My weekend did not disappoint! It was entirely filled with laughter and good times! What a great way to finish a week! Must continue this way of life....

Some highlights

My parents both have an extremely well endowed funny bone. On the outside our family seems a little serious and well.... just normal. But come inside our house and you meet a whole different version of the Wright clan! Mom gets mad sometimes because we can never get any serious pictures taken. My dad is no exception! This is at my sister Britte's swim meet.

Here are a few pics of Britt'e from her meet. She really has done so well! So proud!

We spent dinner Sunday night at my parents house. Such a good time.

Making some dinner with mom. I can't even begin to tell you how good it was.... so chuck full afterwards we all felt a little sick

Playing... or I guess blinging blokus with my sisters Kalinja and Ariel and Justin. My sister Giselle was behind us cleaning the kitchen mess.... we didn't help. Oops. Sorry Zell!

Afterwards we had some deliciously rich crock-pot brownies (kudos to Ariel) and then we all plopped around the house happily full and sleepy. So Justin and I tried to stay awake by watching AFV clips on youtube. Enjoy them with us! Here, Here, & Here! We really could not stop laughing.

Justin's sister Jenn has a pretty amazing talent. She can throw an object and make it stand up (accidentally) against all odds..... Genius.

Say hi and wave!

To continue the laughing charade's...... I discovered a new app and put it on my phone for Justin and I to experiment with. I don't really think that I can explain any of these pictures because they are just ridiculous!! Something we will treasure FOREVER!!!

I like the new looks! Don't you?

ENJOY YOUR MONDAY! I can actually say that I will :)
